(aka "The Dog Walk")

Regular walks help your dog release pent-up energy, allow for daytime socialization with others* and encourage exercise and overall well-being.

 

The dog walks are scheduled in a duration of time that fits the needs of your dog's health according to breed as well as current health conditions.

 

A 30 mins. walk is suggested for the small breeds such as a Jack Russell Terrier, Tibetian Spaniel or Maltese. As well as for breeds with shorter nasal passages such as Pugs, Boxers or English Bulldogs. It is also a nice introduction to consistent activity to help dogs that are overweight return to a healthy weight (as per your veterinarian's weight recommendations).

 

A 45 mins. or 60 mins. walk session is suggested for medium to large breeds, such as an Australian Shepard, Hound, German Shepard, Labrador Retreiver or American Pit Bull. As well as for highly active breeds such as the Border Collie or Whippet.

 

The dog walks are conducted to be fun, stimulating and energetic while maintaining basic leash obedience.  

 

Your dog will be on a new adventure each time while out enjoying Kauai's South Shore sites from the beach cliffs to the golf course trails with their Aunty Chel.  Each walk satisfies your dog's need to explore its environment through scent and sight.

 

*Upon approval and proper introduction, socialization with other dogs and/or Kai and Wally (Aunty Chel's dogs) during dog walks may take place on ocassion if desired.
